TERROR: 'Never Alone' Video Posted Online
July 18, 2008Los Angeles hardcore/metal band TERROR has just kicked off a massive seven-week North American headlining tour in support of its acclaimed new album, "The Damned, The Shamed". The trek, which launched last night (July 17),also features THE WARRIORS, DEATH BEFORE DISHONOR, CDC and TRAPPED UNDER ICE. It also marks the group's first headlining tour in almost two years.
TERROR recently completed a video for the track "Never Alone" with director Doug Spangenberg and Space Monkey Studios (LAMB OF GOD, EVERY TIME I DIE). The clip is the first part of a two-story conceptual piece and also captures the band's unrelenting, frenetic stage energy. Check it out below. (Note: Video stream may not be available to some non-U.S. residents.) Also available is an interview the band gave to MTV Norway.
Commented vocalist Scott Vogel: "At the end of the EARTH CRISIS tour, we took a day to shoot two new TERROR videos: 'Never Alone' and 'Betrayer'. The storylines are connected and I guess you need to see both to get the full picture. They were done by our friends at Space Monkey who did the last video, 'Lost', and also our DVD. A lot of the scenes were shot in an old prison in the Philly area. For the most part it is run-down, but it still does house some inmates. The building was eerie and really set the tone for the long day. I guess overall the videos deal with truth and trust, knowing who the enemy is, greed and lust, revenge and death; the way all of these interlock in this ugly world and it shows the results of these inner battles. It's always kind of odd for me when we are shooting these things, but the end result is great."
